Hi I’m Samara. I’m from Melbourne, Australia. Lived here all my life. A Better evolved from what we went through in the past few years and my journey for a better life.
The one positive to come of those endless months of fear-mongering and control was the realisation that we are only as free as we feel. The phrase ‘Death By 1000 cuts’ represents the way I used to live. A metaphor to describe the cumulative effect of the slow, gradual process of weakening our mind, body and spirit. Once I realised the lies and deception all around us, the more I looked the more harms I found.
The relentless lockdowns here led me through the full stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. They were right when they said we would never go back to normal. And now I’m so grateful.
I’m not going to delve more into the conspiracy side here, safe to say I’ve been deep down some rabbit holes. But I've also realised you are only as free as you feel. This is my journey paving a better life for myself and my family exploring all the goodness of wellness and holistic health – and you’re welcome to jump on for the ride.
I’m no expert, I have no degrees (yet) in any holistic medicine fields and I definitely won’t have all the answers, but I hope you’ll find something to spark your interest.
