What pieces are included in the 8 piece Castor Oil Wraps set?
Waist wrap x 1 piece

How do I use Castor Oil Wraps?
Prepare Wraps:
Wash and dry the wraps thoroughly before use.
Apply Castor Oil:
Apply up to 1 tablespoon of castor oil in the centre of the white side of wrap, avoiding the edges. Wait 10-15 mins for the oil to soak in, or use the back of a spoon to smooth the oil in.
Secure in Place:
Place the wrap onto the desired area on your body, adjusting the straps/Velcro for a snug fit with white side on your bare skin.
Activate Heat:
Your body heat will warm the oil, or use a heat pack on top to maintain warmth. The waist wrap has a zip pocket for a small heat pack.
Relax and Absorb:
Relax for 30 mins to 1 hour for optimal oil absorption.
Remove and Wipe:
Remove the wrap and wipe off any excess oil
How do I wash Castor Oil Wraps?
I'd recommend to pre-soak the wraps overnight in hot water with baking soda and/or borax. Then hand wash or wash separately in the washing machine.
Make sure the fabric is completely dry before using again. You can use the dryer or lay in the sun.
Can I use Castor Oil Wraps daily?
Yes, you can certainly use the wraps daily. Sometimes it can take a week or two to start feeling the benefits depending on the condition. But I wouldn't over-do it, use them when you feel it's needed.
How much oil should I use with Castor Oil Wraps?
I’d recommend using up to 1 tablespoon of oil on any of the wraps for the first use.
If using the wraps daily- You may find that only a teaspoon is needed the next day, or sometimes none. The oil will have soaked into the inner fabric so you need to judge if you need more.
If using overnight in bed - It’s best to have a towel down in case the wrap moves around.

What colour Wraps would you recommend, Black or Nude?
Both colours are great for normal use.
I have tested them myself and they are very comfortable to wear, even overnight in bed.
If your planning on using the castor oil wraps every day repeatedly, I would recommend choosing the nude colour. With heavy oil build up dark colours are more prone to colour bleeding.
Here are a few precautions to minimise any transfer-
1. If you're using the wraps daily, you only need to add a small amount of oil (if any) each time as the fabric will already be coated in the oil.
2. After using the wrap 3-4 times you may need to wash it if it feels heavy or if the oil has moved onto the edges, to avoid oil leakage. The wrap can only hold so much moisture.
3. Make sure the wrap is completely dry before use. They are quite durable so a tumble dryer is fine or dry in the sun.
4. Once completely dry, only apply a maximum of 1 tablespoon of oil to the wrap and less each time if you're using it again.
5. If using overnight in bed, lay a towel down underneath you in case the wrap moves in the night.
Can I use Castor Oil wraps for Liver Detox?
Yes, you can use the waist wrap over your liver located on the right side, underneath the right side of the rib cage.
I would recommend to use the wrap for a liver detox for 3-4 days and then take a break and see how you feel. It all comes down to how your body feels.
If you feel you need it again in a month or so then it's safe to use again.
Can I use Castor Oil wraps for period pain?
Yes, I recommend using the waist wrap on your belly during your period to help relieve pain.
You can also use it for 2-3 weeks when not on your period, to help reduce chronic pain. Try doing this a few times a year and see if you get results.
It can also help with reducing C-section scars, although wait 6 weeks until you are fully healed before starting.
Will the Waist Wrap fit around my waist?
The waist wrap is a universal size and will fit most body types, from around 48cm to around 120cm.
The waist wrap itself is 46cm long, and has 2 buttons on one side and 2 elastic straps on the other side. The elastic wraps have button holes at 1cm intervals.
You can fix the elastic straps into the buttons on the wrap at your desired length.
The total length of the waist wrap with the elastic straps extended comes to around 100cm, however the elastic will easily stretch to around 120cm.
How do I use the Waist Wrap?
First pre-wash the wrap and make sure the fabric is completely dry.
Then just lay the wrap flat and put a tablespoon of oil in the middle.
Smooth the oil with a spoon so it soaks in.
Then position it on your back or your stomach/liver area and use the straps to tighten it around your body and secure with the buttons. It doesn't need to be too tight, just tight enough that it won't slip down.
You can leave it there for about an hour and then take it off, or sleep with it overnight. It should be quite comfortable to wear. Just lay a towel down if sleeping with it in case it moves in the night.
The round Chest Wraps won't fit in my bra, what can I do?
I would suggest using the waist wrap on your chest area if the round wraps aren't fitting correctly.
The waist wrap can easily be used on the upper chest/breast area by tightening the elastic straps. The straps extend to around 120cm.
Do you have a Wrap for over your eyes?
The Neck Wrap can easily be used to cover your eyes if you're sleeping with it overnight. It is the same shape as a eye mask and has a toggle to secure it in place.

Where is your Castor Oil sourced from?
We purchase our Organic Castor Oil from an accredited Australian Oil supplier who tests each batch for purity and has it Australian Organic Certified.
The source of the Organic Castor Oil varies from time to time depending on availability, so far this year it has been sourced from India.

Is your Castor Oil really 100% Organic?
Yes, we only buy our Castor Oil from an Australian supplier who has each batch of Castor Oil certified to the Australian Certified Organic Standard and met rigorous certification checks.
Is your Castor Oil hexane-free?
Yes, our Organic Castor oil is 100% Hexane-free. It's pure and all natural.
Is you Castor Oil extra virgin?
Extra virgin is a term often used to describe olive oil, it means that it’s unprocessed and cold-pressed.
They don’t often use it to describe Castor Oil but our Pure Castor Oil is both of those things. It’s been organic certified by our Australian supplier.
What is the expiry date of your Castor Oil?
The expiry date for our current batch of Organic Castor Oil is November 2025.
To extend the shelf life keep the lid tightly sealed and store in a dark, cool place when not in use.

Can I use Castor Oil after the expiry date?
Yes, it it's still good condition.
Typically Castor Oil has a shelf life of 1-2 years. To extend the shelf life keep the lid tightly sealed and store in a dark, cool place when not in use.
The best way to check if the Castor Oil is still in good condition is by smelling and checking the colour.
If it’s still a light colour, not brown or cloudy, then it’s ok.
And it should have a mild, nutty odour. You should be able smell it if it has turned rancid.
Will Castor Oil alleviate pain?
Castor Oil can help to alleviate inflammation and pain. The main component of castor oil, Ricinoleic acid, is proven to have anti-inflammatory effects.
Don't expect a miracle overnight. Although with some ailments like mild stomach pain, or period pain, you should see results after only a day or two. They say it depends on the length of time you've had that particular ailment as to how long it takes for the Castor Oil to work its magic.
For a longer lasting ailment, I would repeat the process of Castor Oil wrapping every day, for about a month and then assess the results. If the wrap is getting very heavy with oil, wash it in between sessions to avoid leakages. Just make sure to wash it separately and dry it completely before using again.
What can Castor Oil do?
Castor oil is rich in Ricinoleic acid. The high concentration of this fatty acid is what makes Castor Oil unique and contributes to many of the oil’s healing properties.
Anti-inflammatory Properties:
Ricinoleic acid is known to help reduce inflammatory responses by penetrating the skin, and activating the EP3 receptors in the body. These receptors are part of the prostaglandin E3 pathway, which plays a role in inflammation regulation.
Enhancing Blood Flow:
Ricinoleic acid has vasodilatory effects in the affected areas where it penetrates the skin, meaning it can widen blood vessels. The increased blood flow aids in the delivery of nutrients and oxygen, and facilitates the removal of waste products. Improved circulation contributes to tissue repair and overall well-being.
Stimulating Lymphatic Flow:
Ricinoleic acid when applied externally, is believed to stimulate the lymphatic system directly beneath. By activating receptors on the surface of cells in the lymphatic system, this aids in the movement of lymph fluid, carrying away toxins and waste materials. This process supports the body's natural detoxification mechanisms.
Aiding Liver Function:
Ricinoleic acid supports the liver in its detoxification processes. It’s thought that when absorbed into the bloodstream it may stimulate the activity of certain liver enzymes involved in the synthesis of glutathione, a potent antioxidant produced by the liver. Glutathione plays a crucial role in neutralizing free radicals and detoxifying harmful substances.

More advice to reduce inflammation in the body
It's important when you have any inflammation in your body to be more careful about the foods you eat and the products you're using in your home, to reduce the load of toxins your body has to detox.
Try to steer clear of any processed foods to reduce your intake of added additives and flavours. Stick to organic fruits, vegetables, and red meats as much as possible. Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties that may help with joint pain. For long lasting skin conditions, like severe eczema, some people have also have very good results with a pure carnivore diet.
Acupuncture or Cranial Osteopathy can help with symptoms too.
Also, it's a good idea to switch to more natural cleaning products, like baking soda and castile soap. And I'd recommend switching to an aluminium-free deodorant.
If you can get a good water filter that will also help with reducing contaminants, or switch to drinking hydrogen or distilled water with a pinch of Celtic salt.

Are your copper bracelets really 100% pure copper?
Yes, 99.99% pure copper to be exact.

Can I wear my copper bracelet all the time?
I'd recommend to ensure the longevity of your special piece to take off your copper jewellery before doing any prolonged exercise, swimming or showering.
Copper is a soft metal so be careful not to scratch it against a hard surface.
Take care to store your jewellery in a dry, cool place, preferably in a soft pouch or jewellery box.
How do I clean a copper bracelet?
Pure copper can change colour due to oxidation from sweating or heat.
There is a thin layer of transparent oil on the surface of the bracelet, which slows the rate of oxidation. It shouldn’t affect the copper benefits, and it will wear off over time.
I send out a care instruction card with the bracelets too, so you can clean them properly when they tarnish.
To easily clean your copper jewellery follow these steps:
- Mix 1 tbs of white vinegar with 1/2 tsp of salt in a small cup.
- Soak a soft cloth in the mixture.
- Wipe your copper jewellery with the wet cloth.
- Rinse the jewellery under water and dry with a towel.
The Link Bracelet is too big, can I re-size it?
Yes, the Link bracelet and the Vine bracelet can be re-sized by removing some of the links, it’s like a metal watch band.
If you take the bracelet to a watch repair shop they will do it for you, approx $15.
My wrists are quite big/small, will the Tree of Life bracelet fit?
The Tree of Life bracelet is adjustable, you just gently pull it open and push it closed so should be no problem fitting onto any adult wrist size.
Does copper make your skin go green?
I haven’t had that happen to me and I wear my copper bracelet every day. I take it off before exercising and showering though.
Sweat can cause oxidisation with pure copper. If at any stage you have a green tinge on your skin under the bracelet you can easily wash it off with soapy water.

From time to time I've had customers contact me when they are having trouble using the website, usually on their mobile.

The 20% discount for ordering 2 products isn't working. What should I do?
As much as I love being generous, we only accept one discount at a time.
Did you already apply the 10% welcome discount? The 10% discount overall works out better for your first order.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Yes you can, if you've already placed your order please reply to the Order Confirmation email you received ASAP with any changes required.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes, we offer free delivery within Australia for all orders. No minimum spend.
If you're outside of Australia, International Postage rates will be applied at checkout.
